Music Monday: Mama Said Knock You Out(LL Cool J)

Once again, it's time for Music Monday! I'm in the mood for something to get me pumped up for the day as well as week, and this rap hit has always done that for me.

Back in high school when I played both basketball and baseball, I would frequently hear rap music when we went on the road to play away games on the buses we took. This song came out my freshman year and played a lot on radio into my sophomore year, too. This was particularly true for basketball being that most of my baseball teammates weren't fond of rap music. LOL! Oh well, I accepted it after awhile and this was one of the best periods of time for that genre in the early 1990s. The bus trips with some of the crazy stuff we did were just as memorable as the games especially during my sophomore year.

The video for this is cool, and I like the opening line "Don't call it a comeback! I've been here for years!" Anyway, this week's theme is Mama Said Knock You Out by LL Cool J! Enjoy!
